As a Lane Closure Technician, you'll work in the Traffic Control team, ensuring safe setups and removals of traffic measures for various projects.

Your role is essential for minimizing disruptions and enhancing road safety for both workers and the public, while also adhering to regulatory compliance. This position involves navigating through diverse environments including road construction, utilities, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead teams in setting up traffic control systems

• Monitor work zones and adjust controls as needed

• Conduct traffic control during special events

• Participate in health and safety briefings

• Report safety issues to the site supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months BC Lane Control Technician experience

• Valid Traffic Control Person certification

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

• Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations

• Smartphone familiarity with data capabilities
