Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily activities of room attendants, housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Assign duties and work schedules to room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Monitor housekeeping supplies and linens, and assist with inventory control and ordering.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are guest‑ready and maintenance issues are reported and resolved.
  • Handle lost‑and‑found items in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Assist with attendance tracking, and productivity monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, and departmental documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Support management in achieving departmental goals, guest satisfaction targets, and quality assurance standards.
Qualification & Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is required
  • Supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
