In this role, you will lead and implement culturally relevant nutrition education programs aligning with the Métis community's values. Engage families and stakeholders to strengthen food security initiatives and promote healthy lifestyles. You will coordinate interactive workshops on meal planning and traditional cooking, enhancing the wellbeing of community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct targeted research to improve community food programs
• Coordinate nutrition education workshops and family activities
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders for program success
• Develop educational resources that foster food literacy
• Prepare grant proposals and funding applications for sustainability
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field such as Public Health or Nutrition
• At least three years in program coordination or community engagement
• Strong advocacy skills for Indigenous food security
• Excellent project management and communication abilities
• Ability to travel for program engagements and visits
Support the health of Métis families by enhancing food literacy and community connections.
