As a Natural Resource Specialist, you will prepare project reports, establish work schedules, and advise on environmental practices related to construction operations. The role requires you to monitor compliance, develop training sessions, and provide technical support during environmental emergencies.
Your role will also involve liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring natural resource strategies are effectively communicated.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare analytical reports and project budgets
• Implement programs to mitigate environmental impacts
• Monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Direct field staff during emergencies and training
• Participate in public meetings and license hearings
Requirements:
• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum three years of experience in natural resource management
• Eligible for Biologist in Training designation
• Valid BC Driver's License required
• Capacity to work in remote and varying weather conditions
