Position: Junior Environmental Scientist for Field Projects
Advance your environmental career with Millennium EMS Solutions (MEMS) as a Junior Environmental Scientist, specializing in field projects. This role involves essential fieldwork, data collection, and contributing to technical reports, fostering a strong safety culture.

As a key member of the MEMS team, you will support the execution of environmental programs including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and remediation projects. Your work will encompass site monitoring, data management, and contributing to safety training initiatives. You will also be guided by experienced professionals to develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct field programs across various sites

• Execute groundwater, soil, and vapour testing and sampling

• Compile and assess field data for technical documentation

• Collaborate in work plan development and project execution

• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or similar

• 1-2 years consulting experience in environmental assessments

• Must qualify for a relevant professional association

• Knowledge of best practices and provincial guidelines

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
