Position: Experienced Power Engineer 4 Needed

The Dawson Creek and District Hospital seeks an experienced Power Engineer 4 to oversee essential operations and maintenance of facility equipment. This role encompasses boilers, air conditioning, and emergency power systems.
As a Power Engineer 4 for the new Dawson Creek Hospital, you will work under the supervision of management, focusing on the repair, operation, and preventative maintenance of critical systems. You will guide other maintenance staff and manage contractors to ensure smooth facility operations. This position includes after-hours on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and repair critical boiler and HVAC systems

• Conduct essential preventative maintenance tasks

• Supervise designated maintenance staff and workers

• Oversee contractor projects when necessary

• Provide rotating on-call services after hours
Requirements:

• Relevant experience in power engineering or maintenance

• Mechanical skills with a focus on facility operations

• Journeyman trades qualifications are advantageous

• Proven supervisory abilities in technical settings

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts
