Oil and Gas Instrumentation Technician

Position: Oil and Gas Instrumentation Technician Role
Step into an instrumentation technician role at Pacific Canbriam Energy in Altares, working 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 schedule. Your expertise will drive equipment performance and reliability in the oil and gas industry.
In this position, you will report directly to the Maintenance Shift Lead, focusing on troubleshooting, installing, and calibrating site equipment. Additionally, you will maintain accurate work order records and prioritize adherence to PCE’s safety protocols during tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and rectify instrument issues promptly

• Install new equipment and oversee commissioning

• Perform regular calibration of site instruments

• Maintain and manage work orders in CMMS

• Adhere to safety and operational procedures effectively
Requirements:

• Must possess a Red Seal Journeyman trade certificate

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience necessary

• Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems required

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed

• Must have independent contractor documentation
