Position: Plumber and Gas Fitter at Northern Health
Location: Dawson Creek

Become a skilled Plumber/Gas Fitter with Northern Health at Dawson Creek and District Hospital. This role focuses on plumbing systems installation, maintenance, and gas fitting compliance.

The position requires a dedicated individual to perform plumbing work and handle natural gas lines. You will work under general supervision, carrying out duties such as troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and ensuring compliance with current codes. Additional responsibilities may include supervising staff and performing trades related to electrical work and painting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing equipment and systems

• Test and service natural gas lines and appliances

• Inspect cross-connection and back-flow prevention systems

• Supervise Maintenance Workers and related staff

• Perform trades duties in electrical and painting fields

Requirements:

• Journeyman Plumber Certificate or Trades Qualification

• Class B Gas Fitter’s License with electrical endorsement

• Certificate in Cross Connection Control

• Minimum two years related experience

• Valid BC driver’s license
