Westar Oilfield Rentals seeks a Heavy Duty Apprentice Mechanic, ideally a 1st to 3rd year Red Seal holder in Heavy Duty or Automotive. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions, with an emphasis on safety policies. This permanent role is available immediately and offers competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service rental equipment and field trucks

• Inspect mechanical units for faults and malfunctions

• Troubleshoot 12 V electrical and hydraulic issues

• Repair or replace mechanical components as needed

• Perform scheduled maintenance on the fleet

Requirements:

• 1st to 3rd year Red Seal in Heavy Duty or Automotive preferred

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to work with electric and hydraulic systems

• Open-minded approach to problem-solving

• Experience with fleet maintenance is an asset
