Drywall Installer​/Finishing Technician

We Care Restoration Ltd. is looking for a skilled Drywall Installer / Finishing Technician to join our growing restoration and renovation team. The successful candidate will install and finish drywall, complete painting and flooring installations, perform finish carpentry, and assist with residential and commercial restoration and renovation projects throughout Northern British Columbia and Alberta.

• Measure, cut, and install drywall on walls and ceilings.
• Tape drywall joints and apply multiple coats of joint compound.
• Sand drywall to create a smooth finish ready for painting.
• Repair drywall damaged by water, fire, impact, or general wear.
• Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, masking, and priming.
• Paint walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other interior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Install flooring including vinyl plank, laminate, engineered hardwood, hardwood, tile, carpet tile, and transitions.
• Install baseboards, casings, interior doors, shelving, and other finish carpentry components.
• Complete demolition and preparation work as required.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and project specifications.
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow company safety procedures and WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
• Travel to job sites throughout Northern British Columbia and Alberta when required.
• Assist with emergency restoration projects when needed.

• Experience installing and finishing drywall.

• Restoration experience.
• First Aid certification.
• WHMIS certification.
• Fall Protection certification.
• Experience using drywall finishing tools, texture sprayers, flooring tools, and paint sprayers.

• Knowledge of finish carpentry and interior renovations.
• Ability to read measuring tapes and construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
