Dawson Road Maintenance is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent based in Fort St. John, BC. Bring your expertise in equipment maintenance and leadership skills to ensure effective fleet management.

As a leader in this full-time position, you will oversee maintenance operations, emphasizing preventative care and regulatory compliance. Your ability to train and supervise employees will help maintain high standards in mechanical services. Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and prioritize equipment repair and maintenance

• Supervise mechanical team to ensure proper procedures

• Ensure all equipment passes inspection standards

• Develop productivity metrics and track workforce output

• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics or equivalent

• Minimum of three years in a supervisory role

• Class 5 driver's license;
Class 3 with Air preferred

• Understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs

• Familiarity with Automated Vehicle Tracking systems
