Position: Journeyperson Electrician at Rising Edge Group
Elevate your career as a Journeyperson Electrician with Rising Edge Group, specializing in high-voltage systems across British Columbia. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and mentoring Electrical Apprentices.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Journeyperson Electrician will perform equipment upgrade, maintenance, and inspection tasks in substations ranging from 13.8kV to 500kV. You will interpret technical drawings and plans, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. This senior position emphasizes leadership while fostering safety and quality in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain high-voltage electrical systems

• Provide training and mentorship to Electrical Apprentices

• Lead the inspection and testing of high-voltage equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations

• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate

• Minimum 5 years of electrician experience, 2 in substations

• High-voltage experience preferred

• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and Technical Safety BC

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
