Finning is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for a permanent, full-time role in Fort St John. You will troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment at client sites, utilizing your mechanical expertise. This position also includes working with a company-supplied truck and support for travel and accommodation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of Caterpillar equipment

• Collaborate directly with customers to ensure operational efficiency

• Perform work both in the shop and out in the field

• Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance

• Leverage technical knowledge to build customer trust

Requirements:

• Heavy Duty Mechanic certification required

• Experience with Caterpillar equipment preferred

• Must be willing to travel to customer sites

• Computer literacy with Finning systems is an asset

• Completion of Finning S-level courses is a plus
