Take on a challenging role as a Field Mechanic with Finning Canada in Dawson Creek, dedicated to servicing Caterpillar equipment. This permanent position is ideal for experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics seeking growth and responsibility.

As a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will engage directly with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal certification along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. This position involves working primarily in the field and supporting various mechanical functions while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of equipment in the field

• Interface directly with customers for service inquiries

• Uphold safety compliance throughout operations

• Provide support with equipment diagnostics

• Engage in various mechanical duties as required

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal)

• At least 5 years’ experience in CAT equipment repair

• Proficient organizational and communication skills

• Self-starter with computer knowledge

• Ability to perform work under minimal supervision
