Commercial Truck Service Technician

Join Peterbilt Pacific as a Commercial Truck Service Technician focused on diagnosis and repair of high-volume transport trucks. You will engage in maintaining and servicing over 10,000 trucks annually.

At Peterbilt Pacific, the Service Technician plays a vital role in our dedication to integrity and excellence. With responsibilities spanning from performing scheduled maintenance to diagnosing chassis and drivetrain issues, you will work collaboratively with Journeyman and Apprentice technicians. Training programs ensure continuous growth in your technical skills, and your efforts contribute directly to our community's trust in our dealership's services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems

• Perform regular maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups

• Utilize OEM diagnostics for effective troubleshooting

• Conduct diagnostic road tests on vehicles

• Train and lead Registered Apprentices in service tasks

Requirements:

• Completion of Truck and Transport Technician Apprenticeship

• 4+ years of relevant work experience

• Red Seal Trade Certification preferred

• Class 1 or 3 Driver's License with airbrake endorsement is an asset

• Superior mechanical aptitude and strong computer skills
