Electrical Apprentices

Surepoint is currently seeking Apprentice Electricians local to Fort St. John to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated, safety-driven individuals who take pride in their work and consistently demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.

• Perform all work in accordance with Surepoint's environmental, health, safety, and quality policies, procedures, and client requirements.
• Install cable tray systems, supports, conduit, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Cut, thread, bend, and install EMT, rigid, PVC-coated, and other conduit systems.
• Pull, identify, gland, and terminate power, control, and instrumentation cables.
• Install and commission electrical equipment including MCCs, switch gear, transformers, VFDs, batteries, solar power systems, heat trace systems, motors, and associated control equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and applicable electrical code requirements.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.

• Must be an Indentured Apprentice.
• Must be local to Fort St. John and the surrounding area or willing to relocate.
• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
• Valid H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS an asset.
• Previous experience in the industrial or commercial construction settings is considered an asset.
• Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.
