Position: Journeyperson Mechanic Role

As part of the Dawson Road Maintenance team, you will work under the Mechanical Foreman, diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy equipment. We are looking for a motivated technician with a strong safety record and commitment to quality work. Enjoy a balanced professional life with our 4-days-per-week schedule, allowing for ample personal time in Fort St. John.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe, thorough vehicle inspections and repairs

• Adhere to all company guidelines for safety and quality

• Maintain an orderly work environment

• Facilitate teamwork to enhance workflow

• Work outdoors in varying conditions

Requirements:

• Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year Heavy Duty Mechanic program

• Journeyman Certificate is a plus

• Valid BC Driver's License, minimum Class 5

• Capability and willingness to obtain CVIP license

• Excellent communication skills focused on safety
