Qualifications- Experience operating tandem axel trucks.
- A valid Class 3 Driver's License (or higher) with Air Endorsement.
- A positive attitude and desire to get things done.
Working a 4 on, 3 off shift pattern, the TJ Heavy Duty Mechanic’s position requires an individual who is competent, energetic and highly self-motivated. Applicants must be a licensed HD Mechanic with CVIP Certification, Welding Certification, valid B.C. Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement, and with several years’ experience with heavy duty, commercial, and transport equipment. Hydraulic and electrical engine, power train and diagnostic repair experience would be an asset.
Responsible for service, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, equipment and machinery as required for the fleet.
Competitive wage and benefits package as per Union Contract.
Argo Road Maintenance is accepting resumes from drivers experienced in the operation of tandem axle and plow trucks for the Kamloops, Barriere and Clearwater Areas.Must hold a valid BC driver’s license, minimum Class 3, with air and must provide a current National Driver’s Abstract with their resume. Duties will be the operation of tandem axle trucks and will include manual labour to complete road maintenance activities. Experience in operating snow removal equipment would be an asset. Competitive wage as per Union Contract.
