The role of Plumber/Gas Fitter B/Cross Connection - Maintenance Worker V involves working within the Dawson Creek and District Hospital. You will perform advanced plumbing duties, including gas line installation, maintenance, and system inspections. The job may require supervising other maintenance staff and providing after-hours support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair plumbing systems and equipment
• Maintain and test natural gas lines and appliances
• Inspect and test cross connection systems
• Troubleshoot plumbing and gas-related issues
• Supervise designated staff in maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Journeyman level plumbing experience required
• Knowledge of gas line regulations and codes
• Ability to perform trade tasks in electrical and painting
• Availability for on-call services as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills in plumbing systems
