Surgery Scheduler

Description

The Surgical Services Coordinator employs advanced knowledge of information systems administration and clinical workflow within the Surgical Services Department. This position is full-time and requires flexibility in working hours. This person will need to have the skills to schedule procedures for the OR, Endoscopy and Eye Room, records and submit statistical data, maintain OR log documentation, provide statistical, logging, and charge entry duties utilizing a computerized program for the Surgery Department.

This person should have experience with information systems analysis. This person will serve as the EPIC Super User for troubleshooting and data analysis. Provides specific assistance to Department Manager and other Supervisors. Orders implants and supplies.

• Experience in the health care setting as well as Medical Terminology.

• Associate's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with data entry functions.
