Travel Supervisor Critical Care Registered Nurse | Fortuna, California

A critical leadership role is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU and supervisory experience, focused on supporting clinical teams and patient care excellence in a travel nurse capacity. This position offers a dynamic work environment with 3x12-hour shifts available on both day and night schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing staff across multiple units including Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) during shift hours.
• Provide coverage during meal period breaks, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Foster communication among clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in critical care or acute care settings.
• Proof of a negative tuberculosis screening within 12 months prior to contract start.

• Position based in Fortuna, CA, with opportunities to float within a 20-mile radius including Arcata, McKinleyville, and Eureka.
• Work schedule:
  
  3 twelve-hour shifts per week (day and night shifts available).
