Position: Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Travel/Contract - Up to $3,200/week!

Local Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse

Local travel acute care registered nurse for a 13-week contract in Fortuna, California, earning up to $3,200 per week. This role delivers high-quality medical-surgical and acute care nursing services while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Nurses will provide compassionate, evidence-based care and maintain accurate documentation throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
  • Respond to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions.
  • Provide high-quality Medical-Surgical and Acute Care nursing services in fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment throughout assignment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
  • Active California RN license.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • Medical-surgical nursing experience.
  • Current clinical credentials valid throughout assignment.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
