American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and a CA RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Floating between sister facilities nearby may be required

• Active CA RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Preferred certification: NRP
• Skills with medications and continuous IV sedation
• Triage skills required
• Telemetry skills preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

• Provide emergency care including triage, medication administration, and continuous IV sedation management
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered under local rules
• Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Candidates with strong ED experience may be considered even without prior travel experience
