- On-call and holidays: 2 days per week (includes holidays); 3 x 24-hour weekend on-call shifts per month

- Circulate in the OR and provide PACU recovery care, including airway management and continuous monitoring
- Respond to codes and emergencies, maintain patient safety, and ensure proper use of electrosurgical units
- Support perioperative nursing across general surgical cases and maintain sterile technique
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates (Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care
- Manage a patient population spanning pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Document care in the charting system and ensure accurate perioperative records
- Endoscopy- and general surgical procedure support (e.g., appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, total joint replacements, and related endoscopic cases)
- Active RN license; compact state license in hand at submission
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS - Experience:
Minimum 1 year RN experience; OR and PACU responsibilities; endoscopy experience required - Education:
RN degree (RN licensure demonstrated) - Ability to work in a rural hospital OR/PACU setting
- On-call requirements: 2 days per week (includes holidays and weekends); 3 weekend on-call shifts per month
- Floating:
May be asked to float to nearby facilities - Other pre-start requirements:
Pre-approved time off up-front (RTO); references available (2 references within the last 3 years)
