Location:

Foster City, CA 94404 (On-site) M-Thurs and Friday (Remote Option)

You are a creative and detail-driven automotive designer with a deep understanding of vehicle form, function, and the future of mobility. You are a strong collaborator, a compelling visual communicator, and excited to contribute to a team that prioritizes excellence, craft, and purpose in every design decision to join our Industrial Design team. This group is redefining what automotive design can be—focusing on autonomous vehicle and robotaxi development that blends innovation, beauty, and functionality.

You’ll help shape the future of mobility by designing products that not only look stunning but are also inclusive and purposeful. This role offers the chance to work on transformative projects that challenge conventional automotive design while collaborating across engineering, hardware, and product teams.

What you will be doing:

• Develop design themes from sketch to prototype to production for vehicles and hardware
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design outcomes on time
• Create compelling digital and physical presentation materials to communicate design intent across all project phases

What you bring:

• 5+ years of automotive or relevant design studio experience with mass production, concept, or one-off vehicle project exposure
• Strong project management skills from concept through production, including collaboration with cross-functional and executive teams
• Proficiency with design software and basic Alias modeling skills; experience with autonomous vehicle systems and sensors is a plus
