Ronald
C. Wornick Jewish Day School seeks a full-time Hebrew Teacher to work at its school located in Foster City, CA.
- Support instruction of elementary students in Hebrew daily (vocabulary, language patterns, correct usage, conversation).
- Teach songs, games, stories in Hebrew.
- Teach culture and religion of the people of Israel.
- Develop lessons to meet grade-level standards.
- Differentiate based on student ability.
- Prepare multiple modes of instruction and advise teachers.
- Participate in school events.
- Communicate with parents.
- Serve on committees.
- Develop and teach ways to measure student Hebrew fluency.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience teaching Hebrew.
