San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to work under the guidance and oversight of the classroom teacher and the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with both academic and behavioral needs which may include modifying curriculum, teaching and reinforcing replacement behaviors, managing difficult behaviors and facilitating students with peer interactions as appropriate to the student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
8 Hours per day, 10 months per year
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification required
- Minimum of Associate degree or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of professional experience working with students in a special education program
- Must maintain current Safety Care certification
