The Preschool Lead Teacher plays a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children during their critical early developmental years. This position is responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. The Lead Teacher will guide and support a classroom of preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in learning activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure for preschool teaching, as required by local regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
• Minimum of 2 years in a lead teacher role.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with curriculum development and classroom management.
• Familiarity with inclusive education practices and working with children with diverse learning needs.
• Professional development training in early childhood education methodologies.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive preschool curriculum aligned with developmental milestones and educational standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents and guardians.
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to ensure consistent and high-quality care and instruction.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and administration to support children's individual needs and promote a cohesive learning community.

The Preschool Lead Teacher utilizes strong communication skills daily to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear and supportive interactions. Organizational skills are essential for planning lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining detailed records of student progress.
