RoleHigh Voltage Battery Designer can be remote or onsite in Foster City, CA.
Role:
Support the design engineers by transferring the design into 2D drawings for sample production and manufacturing. Act as center of competence for drawing releases in our system for quoting, manufacturing and verification of subcomponents. Align drawing requirements with engineers and stakeholders such as manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers. Release 2D drawings for prototype builds.
- Transfer designs into 2D drawings for sample production and manufacturing
- Serve as the center of competence for drawing releases in the system
- Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders (manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers) on drawing requirements
- Release 2D drawings for prototype builds
- Experience in high voltage battery design
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT)
- Understanding of creeping distance and clearance
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of serviceability
Salary Range: $110,000-$135,000/K
The actual salary offered depends on factors including location and the candidate’s job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
