Studio Engineer

Our client, an innovative leader in automotive design and mobility solutions, is seeking a Studio Engineer to join their team. As a Studio Engineer, you will be part of the Design and Engineering Department supporting the development of autonomous vehicle concepts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, technical expertise, and a passion for innovative design, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to transform creative concepts into functional vehicle designs
• Support modeling activities, including creating model setups and armatures
• Ensure surface development aligns with aesthetic and engineering criteria
• Lead technical reviews and organize meetings to resolve design and engineering issues
• Maintain documentation and tracking related to surface development, engineering, and design issues

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science Technical Degree (4 Year Degree)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in related automotive design or studio engineering roles
• Proficiency in CATIA (V6 preferred) and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
