JOB TITLE: Test Technician, EE Systems Integration Lab
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Onsite)
PAY RANGE: $29 - $39/hr.
DURATION: 6 months
Top 3 SKILLS- Proficient in operating and testing hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) electrical systems, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Skilled in assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems, wiring harness fabrication, and reading schematics.
- Experienced with EE lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, with preference for familiarity with firmware flashing and performance evaluation.
As part of the EE Systems Integration team, we will collectively be responsible for assuring that electrical, electronic, and mechatronic systems are defined, specified, manufactured, integrated, and tested into systems and vehicles with a maximum of reliability and performance.
As a Test Technician, you will work with a high-performance team at the cutting edge of integrating and testing our complex electrical systems. You will work with system owners, firmware developers, test engineers, and other technicians to operate Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test assets. You will also aid in the building of HIL test assets with visible craftsmanship and great pride in the end product.

- You will learn to operate and support teams to test on hardware-in-the-loop electrical systems
- You will work with test requesters to ensure successful performance evaluations
- You will flash firmware on vehicle components with changes and updates tracking
- You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- You will assemble electro-mechanical systems and test fixtures
- You will fabricate and pinout wiring harnesses from a schematic
- You will fabricate and assemble test fixtures from CAD and drawings
- AA or higher in electrical/electronics technology, or equivalent
- Understanding hardware-in-the-loop electrical systems and their purpose for testing efforts
- Experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems
- Experience reading schematics and assembling or repairing wiring harnesses
- Experience with EE lab equipment (Digital Multimeters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, etc)
- Experience with Linux command-line-interface and linux file topology
- Familiarity with version control tools such as git
- Previous experience with CAN network
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
