Our client a leading innovator in the automotive and transportation industry is seeking an Automotive Interiors Quality Engineer to join their Product Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for quality and craftsmanship.

Pay Range$90/hr + Benefits
Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional activities to embed craftsmanship requirements early in product development.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to define vehicle-level craftsmanship targets.
- Participate in the development of sensory and functional quality targets, including scent, lighting, NVH, and color & trim.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance brand perception and user trust throughout the product lifecycle.
- Report progress and raise decisions to the Director of Geometric Integration as needed.
- Minimum of 10 years of craftsmanship engineering experience in automotive or transport industries.
- At least 5 years of experience leading forums and making key decisions in the industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Engineering, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Extensive knowledge of visual, tactile, olfactory, auditory, and functional quality standards.
