Engineering Technician
Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineering Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be an essential part of the Test & Diagnostic Engineering department, supporting the development, validation, and troubleshooting of automated test stations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable you to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Foster City, CA (fully onsite)
Pay Range: $39/h + Benefits
What's the Job?- Develop, build, validate, troubleshoot, and support automated test stations in both laboratory and high‑volume production settings
- Create and review detailed test and process documentation, providing insights for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize product manufacturability and testing processes
- Follow technical drawings, instructions, and specifications to ensure precise execution of tasks
- Travel between work sites as needed to support testing operations and installations
- Associate degree or higher in electrical, electronics, or mechanical technology with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain industrial‑grade test systems
- Strong skills in reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience assembling and repairing wiring harnesses
- Familiarity with standard electrical lab equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
