Validation Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility technology, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Component and Sub System Hardware Validation team supporting the development and deployment of innovative robotic transportation solutions. Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive test plans to validate mechanical, electrical, and environmental failure modes of components and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure clear requirement definitions and validation strategies are in place.
  • Identify suitable test assets, data acquisition systems, and sensors to ensure high-quality test data collection.
  • Analyze test data to generate clear, concise reports that inform decision-making and design improvements.
  • Support DFMEA activities to ensure all potential failure modes are adequately addressed within the validation process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of validation or testing experience related to automotive ECUs, mechatronics, or lighting systems.
  • Experience with PCBA failure modes, circuit design (DC/DC converters, drivers, I2C), and communication protocols (LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth).
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Polarion or equivalent.
  • Hands‑on experience with lab and measurement equipment including DAQ systems, oscilloscopes, accelerometers, thermocouples, and automotive communication networks.
