About the Role:

Seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to develop and deploy manufacturing test solutions for the electronic platforms powering next-generation autonomous vehicles. This role will focus on testing critical hardware components including custom PCIe devices, networking systems, and other PC-based electronic components used within advanced vehicle architectures. You will work closely with electrical engineering, software engineering, and manufacturing teams to support prototype bring-up, validation, and scalable manufacturing test processes across multiple production stages.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on debugging, manufacturing validation, and solving complex system-level challenges in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, and release manufacturing test solutions for early hardware bring-up activities
• Design and implement test coverage across all manufacturing phases including PCBA, Module, System, Vehicle-level testing
• Support prototype validation and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering teams
• Improve test execution efficiency, runtime, and manufacturing yield
• Establish and maintain best practices for automated testing and validation processes
• Debug hardware and software failures using Linux command-line tools and diagnostic methods
• Support new product introduction (NPI) testing and validation efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field
• 6-8+ years of industry experience in test engineering, validation, or systems testing
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and debugging complex hardware/software systems
• Experience testing electronic assemblies and manufacturing systems
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills
• Advanced Git proficiency including branching and merging, conflict resolution, workflow management, history manipulation
• Experience working within Linux environments and using command-line debugging tools such as ssh, lshw
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) testing and validation
• Familiarity with custom PCIe devices, networking hardware, or PC components
• Experience with C++ development
• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or embedded systems environments
