Job Title: Automotive Interiors Quality Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $90/hour + Benefits

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and transportation industry, is seeking an Automotive Interiors Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role supports the Product Development Department and collaborates across cross‑functional teams to embed craftsmanship requirements early in product development.

• Lead cross‑functional activities to embed craftsmanship requirements early in product development.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to define vehicle‑level craftsmanship targets.
• Participate in development of sensory and functional quality targets, including scent, lighting, NVH, and color & trim.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance brand perception and user trust throughout the product lifecycle.
• Report progress and elevate decisions to the Director of Geometric Integration as needed.

• Minimum of 10 years of craftsmanship engineering experience in automotive or transport industries.
• At least 5 years of experience leading forums and making key decisions in the industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Engineering, or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of visual, tactile, olfactory, auditory, and functional quality standards.
