Our client, an innovative leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the Electrical Integration Lab (EIL) supporting the validation and testing of software and hardware systems that drive cutting-edge autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $70-$75/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?
  • Execute manual and automated structured test plans on dynamometer systems to validate software releases across various platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on electrical test assets to support software release cycles.
  • Monitor, record, and analyze test data to identify anomalies, failures, and trends, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to reproduce issues, determine root causes, and verify fixes.
  • Document test procedures, results, and defects with precision and clarity to support continuous improvement.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a test, validation, or integration engineering role.
  • Hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical systems and testing of subsystems.
  • Experience with HIL systems such as dSPACE, CANoe, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with electronic lab equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
