Comrise is actively hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Hardware Engineering to drive physical hardware development programs for a premier autonomous mobility technology program in Foster City, CA
.
If you have a background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Hardware, Robotics, or NPI (New Product Introduction), this high-visibility position puts you at the center of cutting-edge vehicle design and hardware builds!
- Pay Rate: $91.85 per hour (W2)
- Location: Foster City, CA
- Assignment Length: Full-Time Contract (30+ hrs/week through August 2026)
- Top-Tier Pay: Earn $91.85/hr supporting next-generation physical hardware builds.
- Hands-On Engineering Leadership: Work directly alongside elite Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing teams, and Tier-1 Suppliers.
- Cutting-Edge Tech: Manage mechanical mechanisms, sealing systems, and structural integration programs from prototype through release.
- Drive Hardware Schedules: Build, maintain, and execute detailed project timelines for mechanical mechanisms, sealing, and vehicle structural programs.
- Supplier Coordination: Serve as the primary technical interface with external suppliers to track hardware build plans, part deliveries, and Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity.
- Clear Roadblocks: Maintain issue/bug trackers (Jira), drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings, and resolve cross-functional hardware bottlenecks.
- CAD & PLM Workflows: Oversee packaging investigations and clearance analysis using CAD tools (
CATIA, NX, or Solid Works
) and manage dataset releases via PLM systems (3
DEXPERIENCE
).
- Experience: 2 to 4+ years in Technical Program Management (TPM), Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Hardware Project Management.
- Hardware Lifecycle: Experience guiding physical hardware through design, sourcing, validation, and prototype builds (EVT/DVT/PVT) in Automotive, Robotics, Aerospace, or Consumer Electronics
. - Technical
Skills: - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project
. - Basic familiarity with 3D CAD tools (CATIA, NX, Solid Works).
- Basic familiarity with PLM workflows (3
DEXPERIENCE, Windchill, etc.). - Knowledge of automotive body structures, latches, hinges, actuators, or sealing is a strong plus!
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
