Sr Manager Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and day-to-day operational activities across Field Medical functions, including development of annual work plans, project timelines, and resource coordination.
• Provide end-to-end meeting management support for field team and leadership meetings, including agenda development, documentation of decisions, and follow-up tracking.
• Analyze operational and performance data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, effectiveness, and execution; develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support execution of field strategies, including readiness activities for new initiatives or programs as applicable.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of customer relationship management (CRM) tools, including process design, enhancements, and user adoption.
• Coordinate training, onboarding, and professional development activities for Medical Affairs personnel.
• Prepare, manage, and deliver communications, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Strong project management, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Experience with data analysis, metrics development, and performance tracking.
• Working knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and legal considerations within medical or scientific operations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate operational data into clear insights and action plans.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in Medical Affairs, healthcare, life sciences, or a related function (level dependent on scope of role).
• Proven track record of leading projects, driving operational improvements, and delivering results in a matrixed environment.
