JOB TITLE: Project Manager

LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Hybrid; 3 days/week in office)

PAY RANGE: $67 - $77/hr.

DURATION: 6 months

• 6+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana, and excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive software project manager to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of software initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the project roadmap, overseeing sprint planning and scrum ceremonies, ensuring timely and accurate status reporting, and optimizing resource allocation. Your work will drive alignment across teams and ensure high-impact delivery through effective prioritization and tracking of all initiatives.

• Project roadmap management:
  Define, maintain, and communicate the software development roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and product teams.
• Initiative & project coordination:
  Drive alignment across multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly documented and communicated.
• Sprint planning & agile execution:
  Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; facilitate daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies to ensure on-time delivery of work.
• Tracking & status reporting:
  Develop and maintain clear and consistent tracking mechanisms; provide timely project status updates, risks, and progress reports to stakeholders and leadership.
• Scrum master duties:
  Serve as Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, removing blockers, managing team capacity, and promoting Agile best practices.
• Resource management:
  Monitor resource availability, coordinate team capacity planning, and identify resource needs and allocation issues.
• Prioritization:
  Partner with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize work based on business value, team velocity, and technical dependencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a software project manager, technical project manager, or similar role in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, and design.
• Familiarity with software architecture, Dev Ops practices, and cloud-based technologies.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across global teams.
