Job Description:
Enterprise Data Governance:
Business Analyst (Manufacturing Data Control Tower & AI Enablement). The Business Analyst role will focus on building a Manufacturing Data Control Tower, leveraging enterprise data, system signals, and AI to enable real-time visibility, intelligent insights, and proactive decision-making across the manufacturing operations. This role will work across SAP, PLM (3DX), and other systems to connect data, identify risks, and drive AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency and throughput.
The role will also own and drive AI initiatives and support program management of cross-functional efforts within EDG. This role is onsite in Foster City, CA and reports to the Head
- Business Processes & Enterprise Data Governance.
- Build and support data control tower capabilities (dashboards, monitoring, exception management)
- Enable cross-system visibility and alignment (PLM to ERP)
- Drive AI workstream based on direction from Head-EDG, including:
- Identifying use cases
- Prototyping solutions (agents, copilots, workflows)
- Partnering with IT/Engineering to scale solutions
- Lead and manage EDG and cross-functional programs (scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment)
- Drive automation of data workflows and improve data quality and processes
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Create documentation, insights, and support stakeholder communication
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8–12 years of experience in data, business analysis, program management, or enterprise systems
- Experience with SAP and/or PLM (3DX)
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain environments
- Experience in AI/ML, automation, or data-driven initiatives, including prototyping use cases
- Strong analytical skills with ability to connect data across systems
- Basic understanding of master data (BOM, material, routing) preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong execution and ownership mindset
- Curiosity and interest in applying AI to real business problems
