IT Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist – Tier 1 for a growing pharmaceutical company in Foster City, CA. This position focuses on resolving technical incidents and finding underlying problems and helping to develop long-term solutions/processes. Candidates should be able to pick things up quickly and have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

• 2+ years experience in a technical support position
• Provide technical support to employees working both on-site and remotely
• Understanding the following IT areas: (Windows Operating System / Azure AD / Intune / Office 365)
• General networking knowledge (Firewall, IP addresses, WLAN, Router/Switch)
• End-user hardware/software troubleshooting
• Provide event support during company meetings and events (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• Provide ticketing system support
• Provide excellent communication to Executive staff
• The ability to successfully prioritize competing tasks
