IT Operations Specialist

Expected compensation: 63.04 USD Per Hour

Hire Art is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to support the Technical Operations (Tech Ops) team within a real-time Fusion Center environment.

In this role, you'll document and improve operational workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen the technical backbone of live operations. This role is fully onsite in a secure facility.

The ideal candidate has strong technical documentation and analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced operations environment, and is comfortable collaborating with technical teams to improve processes and system reliability.

• Shadow and document live operational workflows, system interactions, and technical dependencies.
• Map technical processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Partner with Operations, Dev Ops, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows.
• Develop clear process documentation, standard operating procedures, and improvement recommendations.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, mission-critical operations environment supporting real-time systems
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
  • Windows workstation support
  • Real-time operations or command center environments
  • TCP/IP networking or systems administration
  • Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting
• Ability to work onsite in a secure facility and successfully complete a background check

• Experience working in a NOC, SOC, Operations Center, or similar 24/7 support environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms
• Experience collaborating with Dev Ops and Infrastructure teams
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
