About the OpportunityOur client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled Quality Technician to join their team for a 6 month engagement. This project involves supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team, performing root cause analysis on vehicles, and documenting findings to ensure product quality and high reliability. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables- Perform root cause analysis on vehicles, recording findings, and communicating critical information to cross‑functional teams.
- Read technical drawings and CAD to understand part design and intended assembly.
- Develop and document troubleshooting techniques, and work with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and communicate trends.
- Create and update quality documents, and develop training plans for inspection, quality standards, and quality alerts.
- 4+ years of experience as a quality technician (or HS Diploma/GED with 6‑8 years of experience).
- Deep expertise in performing root cause analysis and the ability to read PFMEA and Control Plans. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Broad technical background in mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
- W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
