Hydra Release Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in automotive technology, is seeking a QA Release Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a QA Release Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development and deployment process, supporting the software and machine learning teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Hydra Release Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $80 per hour

• Support the release process for machine learning models and software updates in a fast‑paced environment
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new models
• Maintain and improve release pipelines to enhance efficiency and reduce delays
• Track and manage model merge queues, resolving conflicts and bisecting issues to specific pull requests
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of releases

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in software release management or related roles
• Proficiency with C++ and/or Python programming languages
• Experience with Git version control and conflict resolution
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
