Senior Software Engineer - Simulation Scenario Full Stack

The Simulation Scenario Frameworks team at Zoox is looking for a full‑stack engineer to enable and extend authoring of challenging real‑world driving scenarios.

• Develop autonomous driving simulation scenario tools to author, inspect, and evaluate the performance of autonomous driving software.
• Extend a web‑based front‑end for 3D graphical definition of detailed autonomous driving simulation scenarios.
• Extend a web back‑end to interact with simulation and autonomous driving software.

• 8+ years of industry experience, with proficiency in Type Script and Python
• Experience developing web user interfaces (UI / UX)
• Excellent communication skills
• A BS in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in C++ development
• Experience with modern web development frameworks such as Vue, Three.js, React
• Experience with simulation, game development, robotics or autonomous vehicles

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $203,000 - $293,000. A sign‑on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
