Senior Software Engineer - Simulation Scenario Full Stack Frontend

Are you interested in applying your skills to build tools for testing and ensuring the safety of autonomous vehicles? The Simulation Scenario Frameworks team at Zoox is looking for a full‑stack engineer to enable and extend authoring of challenging real‑world driving scenarios.

• Develop autonomous driving simulation scenario tools to author, inspect, and evaluate the performance of autonomous driving software.
• Extend a web‑based front‑end for 3D graphical definition of detailed autonomous driving simulation scenarios.
• Extend a web back‑end to interact with simulation and autonomous driving software.
• Work closely with internal customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.

• 5+ years of industry experience, with proficiency in Web APIs, Type Script, and CSS.
• Experience building sophisticated single‑page web applications with modern web development frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience developing web user interfaces (UI / UX).
• A BS in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience with 3D libraries / engines (e.g., Three.js, OpenGL, Unity, etc.).
• Experience in C++ and Python development.
• Experience with simulation, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $195,000 - $255,000. A sign‑on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
