Cost Accountant

Full Time Key Position
South Carolina, Fountain Inn, SC, US

Job Summary:

Responsible for the company's production data statistics and analysis as well as monitoring the production process. Responsible for the company's cost accounting and monitoring and controlling the company's products.

Responsibilities
  • Review the cost of control and manufacturing system strictly according to the company's regulations on expense reimbursement
  • Verify the accuracy of statistics statements prepared by the statisticians
  • Handle product cost accounting, related accounts and prepare cost statements
  • Prepare the quota and supervise the correctness and fairness of quota implementation
  • Withdraw power bills, water bills and employee compensation, etc. according to the responsibility system
  • Prepare the cost analysis report and organize cost analysis meetings
  • Conduct inventory checks to ensure account consistency; investigate any inconsistencies and determine responsibility
  • Assist in reducing the inventory of unfinished products at the end of each month
  • Verify that each factory’s, workshop’s and process’s shift forms and handover forms are correctly filled out
  • Maintain flexibility for management to assign or re‑assign duties and responsibilities at any time
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • 1+ year of experience in accounting
  • Undergraduate degree or higher, preferably in accounting; strong professional integrity and work attitude
  • Regularly required to stand or sit for long periods; ability to view a computer monitor for extended times
  • Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle varying variables
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software
  • Proficient in Office software
  • Good communication skills and language ability
  • Familiar with company processes, regulations, laws, rules, finance management and financial accounting systems
  • Experience operating ORACLE or similar ERP systems
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Significant experience in planning, organization and coordination
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with employees and subordinates
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Excellent observational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Training in financial accounting, management accounting and budgeting
  • Training in ORACLE and other ERP systems
  • Training in management skills and leadership
