Customer Service Representative 10000 MAPAL Inc. | Fountain Inn | Customer Service | Full time/ Regular
MAPAL Inc. is the US subsidiary of the MAPAL Group. It employs more than 160 team members at two locations in the United States to ensure superior customer satisfaction. The site in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, is the US Centre of Competence for solid carbide tools with a special focus on the aerospace industry.
The responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include:
- Interact and manage good working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and effective manner.
- Process and input all customer orders/quotes within the same workday.
- Produce stock reports to check for product availability.
- Produce all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer orders.
- Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with the shipping department(s), expediting any order as necessary.
- Follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.
- Assure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying SAP pack slips and invoices.
- Prepare shipping and tracing information to customers as required.
- Communicate distributor feedback to sales management including any signs of dissatisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between shipping and the distributor in administration of accounts and between accounting and distributor regarding invoicing.
- Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.
- Maintain current and accurate work instructions, which detail the processing requirements for each account.
Your profile:
- Education, experience, military or training equivalent to a 2-4 year degree program in a business-oriented field.
- 5+ years of successful administration and management of customer service accounts.
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated; independent and capable of making decisions.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- High energy level with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone skills with a positive attitude toward customers and the business.
- Customer focused; ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
