The Bosch‑Rexroth R&D organization in Fountain Inn, SC is looking for a control systems engineer to be part of our North‑American functional bundle development team. The candidate will work closely with the systems engineering team to develop application software for the next generation hydraulic and electronic systems for the off‑highway market. The candidate must be excited to be part of the simulation, programming, calibration, testing and commissioning of bench test hardware, prototypes as well as customer machines.

• Develop software solutions using simulation and model‑based development tools in close collaboration with the Engineering Systems Development team.
• Design and implement tools and utilities that streamline code generation, optimization, and debugging workflows.
• Utilize Rexroth hardware and software platforms to develop, integrate, and deploy application software for mobile machine control systems.
• Create and maintain documentation to capture, validate, and verify customer requirements both before and after solution deployment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an emphasis on control systems.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages; proficiency in C# is a plus.
• Desirable experience with C programming, Co De Sys , CANalyzer, and Simulink.
• Experience with CAN protocols commonly used in mobile machine control systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for onsite customer support, both domestic and internationally.
